ブログを書く時は、何回も文書を書き直す時がある。理由は色々。

今日は集中力の問題ではなくて、今日もショパンを聞きながら、この文書を書いてる。

別に文書はいらないって気がしてきた。

音楽で十分。

写真の内容はよく分からない。僕は分かるけど、読む側はよく分からない。

ただの思い出。その日の思い出。

その日は色な人と話して、ポートレットも撮った記憶がある。

おじいさんの写真も撮れば良かったかもしれないけど、公園の中にいるおじいさんを

撮りたかった。その日は木の気分だった。草の気分。結局人じゃなかった。人を撮るなら、木に見えた方がいい。多分そんな感じ。

おばあさんもいたね。おばあさんも写真を撮って、フィルムで撮ってた。”やっぱり私はカラーですよ”と話しながら、そこで１５分間もたって次の場所へ行った。

おばあさんはそのまま写真を撮り続けた。

didn't have so much time to write on the blog.
Anyway this month I was working on a small project called
"Playing Fields" and I made a short series of photographs

久しぶりにブログに書く。

今月は、色々で忙しかった。３月、フランスに帰る事になったので、ばたばたしているが、準備は上手く進んでいます。最近はまた地震の話で色々気になってきて、backupとい

ものについて、はじめて考えてみた。今まで、大事な物のbackupをしてなかったので、

今月から、絶対必要な書類や、大事なデータなどを安全な場所で保存をする事にしました。そのために、改めてflickrのアカウントを使ったり、他のサイトも利用して、そこでも

書類のデータを保存していきたい。

そしてこの新しいシリーズも今年の一つ小さなプロジェクトです。去年の後半はなぜか、あいう写真をよく撮っていた。草の写真、鳥の写真。。

本当にあの頃はショパンをよく聞いていた。日常生活に出て来るような風景よりも、

夢に出て来そうな風景がよかった。

今回は、六切りのプリントと、六切りの４分の１のサイズ（９cm x ９cm）

をミックスして、焼いたもの中で編集してみました。

今年はもうすぐ終わります。速かった。

良い写真を撮れたか撮れてないか、まだ判断は難しい。

お正月はちゃんと休んで、気持ちよく、素直に田舎を撮りたいと思っている。

東京を忘れたい。今年撮った写真はもう見たくない。

今年の旅行の中で、樹海は一番良かったかもしれない。そして、一緒に行ったメンバーは

やっぱり最高でした。普段は他の人と写真を撮るのは嫌なのに、今回は逆に、みんなそれぞれの撮り方をみて、参考になった気がする。

樹海について書くのは難しい。とにかく静で、素晴らしい場所。

あの森は眠っているか起きているなのか、分からない。

それだけ凄い世界間を感じる。

夕べでも、この三枚を焼いた時に、部屋が暗くなって想像してしまう。

何を想像をするかはっきり言えないけど、他の写真と違って、感じる。

冬は液が冷たい。

写真が出て来るまでの時間は長い。夕べはとくにその時間は長かった。

よく仕事場では、雲と地震の話をする。
地震の話はほとんど毎日している気がする。今年の３月の経験をしてれば、
毎日、地震の話をしてもおかしくない。
地震と雲はつながっているそうです。地震の前に、雲の形にも影響があるみたい。

休みの日は地震の事は考えたくない。素直に雲をみる。
秋の空。
秋の雲。
雲の写真はよく撮る。
上に向いただけ、一瞬逃げられる気がする。
９月、１０月は草と魚と鳥しか撮っていない。そこも、現実の世界から逃げたくなる。

その日は空をみて、魚を思い出す。
どうしても魚の骨に見える。
空に骨が見える。

A wall of leaves somewhere in tokyo. Leaves again..

This period was all about leaves.

小さい写真です。こういう小さいプリントを普段焼いて、箱に入れて、忘れる。

忘れるよりも、見るのを我慢する。

時間が必要。

写真を組み合わせる。この間と違って、また違う部分が見えてくる。

このゲームは無限に続きそう。

その二枚を撮って良かった。今頃本当に強く思う。

もっとこういう写真を撮らないと、いつか後悔する。

日曜日、外は晴れている。今日も晴れている。

何回も文書を書いて、何回もその文書を消す。今日はこんな日です。説明を書くよりも、その草の写真を見て、色々思い出す。最近、草をよく撮る。その日も、草を撮ってた。後ろに富士山がある。でもこうやって撮ると、後ろ何があるか分からないまま、話が終わる。それとも話が始まる。そうだった、、後ろ、何があるか、自分で想像した方が写真は楽しい。海があって、山があって、人がいるかもしれない。

結局富士山がある。いつも東京から見ている小さな山は、その日は大きかった。美しかった。隣にいろんな人がいて、同じように富士山を撮る。

東京に帰って来て、富士山はまた小さくなっている。

そうだった、二日間三人の友達と車を借りて、

青木ヶ原樹海に行って来た。今でもあの独特な風景はまだ頭の中にある。二日間だけだったけど、本当に長く感じた。あの森はまた行きたい。一人でも行きたい。

昨日の夜は新宿で思った事があって、あの街も樹海に似ている部分がある。どこ見ても、同じ景色が続いてる。樹海もそうだった。ただ、新宿と違って、静な場所。静で、落ち着く。

樹海の写真はどうするか？今日はこのブログにのせない事にする。あのくらいの美しさを撮るのに、カメラの命も必要だったかもしれない。そうだ、そう言えば、今回の旅行で、普段使っているカメラが壊れた。カメラが壊れたか自分でカメラを壊したか、なんとも言えない。あの時のショックは大きかったけど、今冷静に考えると、あの場所で、カメラが壊れて良かったかもしれない。東京に帰って、カメラをかばんの中に片付けて、しばらく何も考えない事にした方が気持ちも楽。樹海にカメラの命を取られても、僕はあの森の美しさを撮らせてもらった事に感謝をしている。

普段はこいう写真をのせるちょっと苦手だけど、この一ヶ月は現像はしてなっかたので、今日の作業を記念に写真を撮ってみた。久しぶりの現像だった。昔と比べて、写真を撮って、すぐ現像をしたいという気持ちがなくなったと、今日改めて思った。フィルムが溜まってからじゃないと現像をやる気がしない。多分、写真をやる人達も同じ事を思っている。まとめて作業をした方が、いろんな意味で効率がいい。。

効率、効率、、、なんか暗室をやるとそればかり考えている。そして、この本当にテーマがかかる作業はいつまでやれるか、自分でも分からないけど、今年になってから現像をしながらフランスのラジオを聞くのは一番落ち着きます。iphoneにしてから一番役に立つアプリはやっぱりラジオだ！

現像をしながらラジオは最高！特にいつも聞いてるのは文化のラジオ。哲学についての番組もよく聞くけど、たまに言っているが事は分からんくて、作業に集中しにくくなるけど、面白い。プリントの場合はラジオは難しい。音楽はもっと難しい。どうしても、影響を受けてしまう。それはまた面白い結果かもしれないけど、、

でもやっぱりプリントはクラシックだね。他のの音楽は無理。

今日聞いてた番組はCasanovaの特集だった。ジャコモ　カサノヴァ。現像をしながら、その特集を聞いて、いくつか気になったところがあった。例えば彼はとにかく自分のために書いてた。自分の本が出版される事よりも、自分の為にずっと書き続けた。写真もそうであるべき。自分のために撮る。このブログもそうだけど、なでも書いて、数年後、もう一度自分がその時思っていた事を読み直す事は大事だと思う。

まぁ、今の時代はボタンを押して、すぐ写真撮れるけど、フィルムで写真を撮るという大きな違いは本当に面白い。結局結果は同じなのに。。僕は、このスタイルで、いつまで出来るか分からない。そしてお金もそうだけど、あまりにも、フィルムと印画紙が本当に高くなったら、やっぱり考えるでしょう。でもそれまで、頑張ってやりたいね。

１１月はもうすぐ終わる。。
夜の写真。最近の写真は、近所シリーズに入るか、別なシリーズに入るか、頭の中に判断をするのは難しくなってきた。この二ヶ月は、木の写真や、葉っぱの写真などが多いきがする。なぜか、東京という街が分かるような写真を撮る気がしない。

そして時代が分かるような写真も少ない。３月の地震が起きてから大分立っているけど、今でも、いろんな事に敏感。あれから、写真を撮らない事は本当にもったいないといつも思って、なるべく撮るようにしている。
別になんでも撮っていいから。今撮っている写真は苦手でも、それぞれをみない事が大事だと思う。１年か２年がたてば、また気持ちがかわる。それと同じ言葉を、他の写真家から聞いたことがある。たしかに、色々撮って、後で面白いカットを発見するのも本当に楽しい！
その経験は何回もあります。この間、アメリカから来てたHiroshi Watanabeさんも同じ事言っていた。とにかく、撮影の期間になると、本当に集中して、写真を沢山撮るみたい。そして、暗室に入る時、改めて細かくネガをみて、面白そうなカットをプリントする。ちなみに、彼は今でもやり続けているシリーズのタイトルは、その考え方から来てると話してました。Findingsというシリーズはそうです。

撮って、忘れて、もう一度みつける。。

これはいつの写真なのかよく分からないけど、デジカメで撮ったのは覚えている。誰にも説明出来ない。今日はこの二枚を見つけたことにする。ショパンを聞きながら、違和感は特にない。逆に、恐ろしくフィットしている。またこの不気味な世界は最近好きで。。

Toshiya Watanabe

I won't really explain what is Critical Mass about but prefer focusing about　Toshiya Watanabe's photographs in this post.
Since I've met Toshiya,I learnt a lot about photography,and the chance I have to be in the annual photographic show "Fragments of Tokyo"with him is also a great experience and a lot of motivation to keep concentrate.
After the earthquake on March 11,he went back to his hometown called "Namie" in fukushima prefecture,and took photos of the current situation.

Toshiya Watanabe's words:

"I'm art director based in Tokyo. A series of huge disasters; gigantic earthquake, tsunami, and　nuclear power plant accidents; hit Japan on March 11. My hometown is only 8 kilometers from Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant. The day after the earthquake, the government of Japan ordered its residents to leave their home; my home town is now no-go zone. On June 12, three months after the earthquake, I was given a chance to go back to my house, which was within the restricted are; to pick up my family album that was full of good old memories. During this visit, I took these pictures shown here. I didn't want to over-dramatize the situation; I simply wanted to record the current condition of the hometown from my personal perspective as I compared the past and present in my mind."

Recently I realised I made a big mistake after erasing my Flickr account.I wasn't so much online these couple of months but anyway it makes me a bit sad.
I've met so many friends thru flickr and I really want to keep in touch with them.After a quick search,it seems I can't get my account back.I apologize for everybody who took their times looking at my photos.

最近、Flickrのアカウントを間違えて、削除してしました。調べたら、復活をさせる事は出来ないみたいです。友達と他のコンタクトに本当に申し訳ないと思っています。
そしてTwitterとFacebookのアカウントを削除したのはわざとです。確かに、地震があった時に、いろんな情報を知るのに、Twitterはとても便利かもしれないが、それ意外は利用をするつもりはないので、何かがあった時に、普段のメールアドレスに連絡をして下さい。

久しぶりにブログに書こうと思って、、

ただ何を書くか、まだ具体的に決まっていない。
夏は終わった。
終わって良かった。。

１０月はとにかく忙しかった。写真の事で忙しかった。夏に撮影したロールを現像したり、そして暗室にいた時間が多かった気がする。家でプリントをするようになって、まだ３年目か４年目になりますけど、（はっきり覚えていない）やっぱり秋と春は最高の季節だ。自分で現像をやる人達しか分からない事かもしれないが、準備をする前に水の温度を計った時に、温度計に表示される数字が自然に２０あたりになると、本当に感度する。
最近、アメリカの現像液を使うようになってから、かなり作業は楽になった。冬はもちろん、その液を暖めないと利用は出来ないけれど、春、夏と秋の季節では、温度の調整はしなくても大丈夫。もともと、写真のプロセスの中で、現像は一番苦手な作業だったのに、今は特に苦手か好きかまったく考えていない。ラボにフィルムを出すお金が無いので、自分でやるしかいないです。そして、中野駅にあるFujiyaカメラで、120のリールを８本を増やしただけ、スピードがかなり早くなった。現像やプリントも含めて、段取りは本当に大事！
昔、知り合いの写真家と話したら、あなたはどうしてますか？と聞いて、”私のやり方は教えてもいいんですけど、あなたに合うかどうか分からない”と答えてくれた。とても正しい答えだと思います。そこで、このブログでは、現像について書くつもりは全然ないですが、自分の経験で言える事は一つだけ：自分に合ったやり方やバランスとリズムを守って、ずっと続ける事。個人的に、現像液とフイルムの組み合わせで色々試してやるのはちょっと苦手。

９月になって、（今頃こんな事書いても遅いかもしれないが）新宿にあるTotem pole galleryへ行って、有元伸也さんの写真展を見に行った。その日はたまたまお客が少なくて、本人と色々話しが出来た。彼は素晴らしい写真家だと思います。有元さんが撮っている新宿はとてもいい！そしてあいう写真は本当に難しい。中々撮れない写真です。
TPG (Totem pole gallery)は初めてではないですが、有元さんとゆっくり話せたのは初めてです。彼の場合は、教えている学校でプリントを作っているそうです。
そして彼はとにかく速い！その日は写真は２５枚以上展示されていたのに、プリント作業は３日間だけ。。驚いた。

同じ月、中野にある冬青galleryで、前からずっと楽しみにしていた写真展もありました。写真の仲間Toshiya Watanabeさんと一緒に行って、もともと日本出身、今アメリカ国籍を持っているHiroshi Watanabeさんの写真展もみに行きました。彼の事について、書くよりも、サイトを見た方が一番良いと思います。今回、その展示の一番良かったところはご本人と二人きりで話せた事です。本当にとても優しい方です。彼が撮っている写真のように落ち着いている。
彼の場合は一日最高５枚（５カット）を仕上げる。こうやって暗室をずっとやり続いている人達と出会うと、本当に幸せ。

そこで、このブログをほったらかして、９月と１０月はハまりました。。
良い写真は出来るあがるかどうかはもちろん別です。
こん月もまだまだ暖かいから、なるべく作業を進んで行きたい。

First experience with Diafine and a quick review of what I got on my rolls..

"So what is Diafine? Diafine is a fine grain, full or greater film speed two part black and white developer that possesses some pretty incredible characteristics that you may want to be aware of if you are not already. It is simple, extremely tolerant of temperate ranges during development and produces excellent results when paired with certain films.

Diafine film developer is unsurpassed in its ability to produce the greatest effective film speed (EI – Exposure Index), ultra-fine grain, maximum acutance and highest resolution. If you are not familiar with acutance it is the edge contrast of an image that is related to the amplitude of the derivative of brightness with respect to space. Still confused? In short, based on how the human eye works an image with higher acutance “appears” sharper even though the actual image has not increased in resolution. As with just about anything there are thresholds here that if crossed can make an image look bad. Some people claim traditional developers like D76 or XTOL have higher levels of acutance, but I will leave that up to you to figure out on your own."

Finaly, this summer is going to be super easy for processing films.I just can't still believe the all things works out without taking care for temperatures and times..

At first I was planing to shoot with the hasselblad at 200iso but I've choosed

a little bit more tricky combination for the test.

I bought in the past this very old yashica who has been sleeping in the darkroom for a couple of months. Good timing for my little adventure so I went shooting last week and yesterday..I knew the yashica was a bit dark but at first I wanted to test focus and sharpness stuff.

I'm pretty happy with the result but not until I go into the darkroom and put everything on paper.

(super prodol and others stuff scares me already...)

note: about the undeveloped parts on the last pictures..don't ask.

友達からもらった現像液をテストした写真です。今まで使ったものの中で、Diafineというやつは恐ろしく使いやすい！現像のムラは気にしなくて大丈夫。通常はこの液はムラ出ません。ただ急いでやったので、ムラが出てしました。。

Dimanche, il fait chaud dehors.

Cette semaine je passe la plupart de mon temps à faire des tirages

dans ma chambre noire.Des tirages de petites tailles.

J'adore les petits tirages.

On les met dans une boîte avec un nom, une date.

Les boîtes je les accumule petit à petit.

J'en prends une au hasard et je regarde le contenu.

Je choisis quelques photos que je pose sur une table, sur mon lit..

J'observe et j'attends.

J'attends une réponse à des questions qui défilent dans ma tête.

Des jours sans réponse, des jours avec.

Je range les photos dans leurs boîtes, puis le temps passe.

"Sakura" test prints

Sakura of the 2011 year.

For the first time last night I made some test prints of this short series.

I usually don't like posting test and other stuff on the blog,but just for fun, some few prints in 12x18inch size.These are not straight. No burning and dogging...just straight printing.

普段は桜は撮らないです。今年の３月、初めて桜を寂しくに見えました。

先日、友人とその写真展を見に行った。彼は、ロバートフランクが好きで、

急に彼に声をかけて、一緒に行くことになりました。
フランクの写真を生で見たのは初めてで、印象てきでした。
写真集で見ると、また違うイメージを感じて、色々勉強になりました。
元々僕は彼の写真はそんなに詳しくないけど、友人のおかげで、前より写真をみることになった。写真集もよくみます。例えば -The Americans-

同じ写真を撮るつもりはなくても、やっはり、学ぶところがたくさんあります。
友人が言うように、（ちなみにその言葉が好きでこのブログにも書いてますけど、）
”深く考えないで、シンプルな写真を撮る。。”
フランクの写真を見て、たしかに、どれでもメッセージがあって、伝わることがいっぱい感じますが、同じ写真は撮れない。
また、コンタクトプリントや、写真で作られたcollage(コラージュ)が展示されているのもとても良かった。

個人的に、この写真が本当に好きで、今回の展示でコンタクトプリントもあります。
それをみれば、この写真の見方が変わると思います。

そして最後にkogaさんに一言、
まず、この本が完成が出来て、本当に良かったと思います。
僕はなにもしないで、写真２枚を選んで、このprojectに参加させて頂く事だけで、感謝の気持ちがいっぱいです。そして、この本を完成するために、charlieさん、fabrizioさん、toshiyaさん、seanさんにも、本当に感謝をしています。

今から４、５年前東京の上野の居酒屋で、みんなで集まって飲んだり、笑ったりして、今頃忘れている方はいるかもしれないけど、今日午前中、丁度kogaさんと電話で話して、それを思い出して、本当に懐かしいなぁと思いました。
結局、３月に地震があったから、この本を作る事になったが、忘れてはいけない事はもう一つあると思います。
今までkogaさんがそれだけインターネット活動して来たおがげで、この本が生まれたと思います。僕は普段、人を集めたり,いろんな人と何かをやろうとするタイプじゃないので、今までkogaさんがやって来た事に関しては、言う事は一つだけだけです。

本当によくやったと思います。本当に色々お疲れ様でした！

夜の写真です。この写真は今年の写真展、fragments of tokyoで展示した写真。なんか、懐かしい感じもするけど、今は頭の中に、夜の事や、夜の世界などを、どのように表現すれば良いのか、それしか考えていない。

しかし僕は選んでいる範囲は狭い。距離でいうと、歩いて、１時間くらい。

今の所、新宿、銀座 etc, 人が沢山集まるような場所は夜の世界を感じさせるような

所であるかもしれないけど、僕のイメージでは、本当に夜のmysteryは近くにある気がする。

また、自分で、その世界を作る。

今日も、夜の撮影は終わりました。

近所では、いくらでもお散歩しても、毎回新しい物が目に入る。

それとも、その日のコンディションによって目がみえる物がかわる。

冬と違って、今頃緑がたくさんある。

東京は雨が続いてます。

晴れた日、やっぱり写真を撮らないと駄目だ。曇った日の写真が多いけど、

晴れた日の写真はいい！どんな天気でも、写真を撮ると、自分の中で段々そいう気持ちになってきた。また、こういう写真は中身が無いと呼ばれやすい写真かもしれないが、

僕にとっては、その時に意味があったと、今でもそう思う。

写真にこだわりすぎると、シャッターを押せなくなる気がする。

その日を思い出すと、本当に気持ちよく撮ってたなぁ。。

杉並はすっきりした風景はほとんど無いから、その時は杉並を撮ると思った方が、

本当に写真は楽になる。

A long time ago, one of my friend from work gave me an olympus Pen F.

He picked it up from the garbage of tokyo.

I was absolutely forgetting about this camera until the other day when I found it

sleeping in a box.

35mmは速い。。

写真を撮ってみて、久しぶりの感覚を思い出す。

眠っていたカメラは使えると。。

Un après-midi à shinjuku.
Je marche dans la ville faisant des allers et retours entre les magasins, les galeries et les librairies.
Aujourd'hui il fait chaud dans la ville et les gens ont l'air détendus.Certains d'entre eux portent des masques pour lutter contre l'allergie au rhume des foins.
Je marche et marche encore sans avoir de but précis, quelqu'un dans la rue me reconnait et nous parlons de photographie.Je passe environ une heure dans un café (une heureuse découverte faite la semaine dernière) je commande un café au lait glacé et je me plonge dans ma lecture.
De temps en temps ma concentration s'affaiblit et j'écoute indiscrètement les conversations des personnes qui sont assises autours de moi.
Elles pensent probablement que je ne comprend pas un mot du japonais avec l'appareil photo posé sur la table et moi concentré sur mon livre qui me donne l'air d'un touriste ou d'un prof d'anglais.Leurs conversations m'inspirent, et je deviens rêveur pendant un certain temps mais je me replonge vite dans mon livre.

Lundi et environ deux semaines avant l'exposition.Les quelques retrouvailles au mois de janvier et février avec mes trois compagnes me laissent songeur.Tous dans un style bien à part approchent le thème d'une façon beaucoup plus sérieuse.
Comparé à l'an dernier ou la liberté du choix de la tailles des photos, divers sortes d'encadrages rendait l'atmosphere de la galerie plutot relaxe.
Une année passe, et l'esprit de cette unifiquation semble mûrir.
Cette année nous décidons donc d'uniformiser l'ensemble et également avec le plus grand des hasards, nous exposerons tous en noir et blanc.
Voici donc les membres de "Fragments of Tokyo"ci-dessous avec un lien pour chaque photographe.

Jon est un photographe anglais résidant à Tokyo.

Dans cette série, Jon dévellope une recherche sur le côté énigmatique de la ville en jouant avec les lignes

ou alors en brisant certaines règles de la photographie grâce a ses composition de travers, un style bien particulier qu'il maîtrise avec élégance.

Dairou Koga　古賀大郎

Dans un style un peu plus documentaire, Dairou propose un série de la ville de shinjuku se distinguant beaucoup plus des photos qu'on a l'habitude de voir en général.

Le photographe se concentre uniquement sur ce quartier montrant toutes ces facettes que nous connaissons bien mais qui sont souvent difficile à capturer surtout en argentique.

L'aspect sombre, vulnérable et excentrique de cette partie de tokyo sont les majeurs mots clés du photographe.

Toshiya Watanabe 渡部敏也

Capable de passer de l'argentique au numerique, tout en conservant un style que j'admire toujours, il fait partie des ces photographes que j'observe en silence sans jamais ressentir le moindre sentiment de décéption dans chaque série.

je conseille vivement aux personnes qui aurait un faibles pour les photos formats carrés d'aller visiter son site.

Place M:

Située un peu à l'écart du centre de shinjuku, la galerie est dirigée par Seto Masato.

Les expositions ici qui sont renouvellées toutes les semaines, restent encore généralement dans le style de la photo argentique.

Place M offre maintenant un espace au deuxième étage sous le nom de M2 réservé aux membres de la galerie.Au troisième étage la ou se trouve l'espace générale, un mur amovible peut séparer la galerie en deux parties permettant deux expositions simultanées avec des prix très abordables.

(je suis un peu déscriptif au sujet du lieu,mais je conseille fortement les personnes de passage à tokyo ayant le désir d'exposer) Place M propose également des location de cadres de différentes tailles pour une somme modique, et une chambre noire est également à disposition pour des tirages noirs et blancs et couleurs.

Introduction

L'exposition "Fragments of Tokyo" qui va avoir lieu jour pour jour dans un mois exactement, me donne l'envie d'écrire un peu et en même temps de poster quelques photos de la sélection
de l'an dernier.

Respectant le point de vue de l'un des membres, cette année l'exposition portera le même nom,regroupant les quatre même personnes sur un thème commun que nous connaissons bien: "Tokyo"

Mes souvenirs restent assez flous à propos de la naissance de cette exposition, mais tout commence grâce au site communautaire de photos Flickr ( un service de yahoo).

Nous avions tous un compte en ligne a l'époque, et petit a petit des sorties photos organisées, des rencontres avec d'autres gens ont fait durer cette amitié jusqu'à aujourd'hui.

Ces photos ont été prises principalement dans le voisinage le quartier de Suginami où j'y trouve toujours de l'inspiration même à l'heure actuelle.
D'ailleurs cette année, je garde une approche similaire photographique par rapport au sujet, en me concentrant uniquement sur des prises nocturnes.

Comme les photos ci-dessus, j'utilise les mêmes procédés:format moyen, tirage avec des papiers barytés.

Dear Readers..
From today I will write sometimes in french on my blog.

Dimanche,et je profite de mon temps libre pour écrire un peu sur mon blog que je laisse à l'abandon
depuis le mois dernier.Ecrire en français me semble tout à fait normal étant donné que c'est ma langue natale.Voilà une décision bien sage qui aurait du être prise depuis longtemps.Les sites de traduction de google ou autres commencent franchement a me lasser.Surtout pour avoir finalement des phrases qui n'ont jamais de sens, j'écrirais dans l'avenir sur ce blog en français avec quelques phrases en anglais et en japonais.(je ne suis pas très fort en japonais mais je me sens plus a l'aise qu'avec l'anglais)

J'écris souvent mes pensées,mes idées sur un cahier après une prise de photos,prenant des notes à propos du lieu,des personnes dont j'aurais pu faire la connaissance ce jour là.Les conditions de la lumière sont aussi des détails auxquels je porte beaucoup d'importance.Ce blog sera plus dans l'avenir comme un cahier de brouillon.N'ayant pas vraiment d'intèrêt pour le nombre de lecteur que je pourrai avoir, je préfère rester pour le moment très personnel dans mes textes, et continuer à écrire petit à petit sur les photos que je poste.
La photo ci-dessus a été prise par mon beau-père au jour de l'an cette année.Nous sommes dans la région de Nagano plus exactement à Hakuba, à la recherche de sujets qui pourraient nous intéresser.J'utilise le mots"nous" parce que mon beau-père est peintre.

その日は晴れていて、本当に気持ちの良い日でした。今月は雪の写真を撮るつもりだったけど、天気と上手くタイミングが合わなくて、まだ撮れていない。
その代わり、今週の金曜日、また埼玉に行って来ました。

Recently I didn't take so much time to write on the blog.
Things are a little bit busy for me now.

It's good to be away from internet for a while.
The far paradise series will keep going this year.

After spending all my free time in the darkroom at the moment I feel like a rest should be fine.That's why I'm planing to go in Nigata prefecture this week end.
Just one day trip..

東京は相変わらず、晴れています。
さすがに我慢出来なくなったので、週末は新潟でも行って来る予定です。
東京の景色はあきる。人間の顔を見るのもあきる。

最近晴れた日は続いています。

本当に晴れた東京は素敵だけど、ずっと晴れるとあきる。

今現在、写真展の準備で、写真を撮りに行ける時間は中々作れない。

今こそ、ちょっと東京からはなれば、雪でも見える。

また余裕が出来たら、東京からはなれたい。

また何も無いところに行きたい。

この間、友人が家に来て話していた事　それは雪の音。雪の音でも聞きたい。

May this New Year bring newly found prosperity,love,happiness and delight in our life.

These photos are from a little trip in nagano.It looks a bit sad and dark but I kind like them even if it was taken with a digital camera.

I was really exepting more snow and bad weather but nothing worked in that way.3 sunny days and no snow..This is a very good reason to go back there this winter and take these beautiful white landscapes.

Far Paradise

One more post from the series and the last one for the year 2010.I have still some undeveloped rolls and negatives to work on.

The "far paradise"series is a long therm project and will take a lot of my time next year.I've been spending my free time in the darkroom recently for the next year group exhibition I am having with some friends.Printing two differents series at the same time is not the best I think,so I take a little rest with it.

今日も暗室作業は終わりました。最近結構集中して、これで一段落。

来年の写真展まで、あと３ヶ月があります。これで、やく５０枚はプリントしてありますけど、午前中テーブルの上にプリントを全部並べてみたら、やっぱりまだまだ写真は足りないと思いました。

また来年になったら、今度の写真展について、色々書きたいと思っています。本当に写真は時間がかかります。そして、自分のコンディションによって、よい暗室作業出来たり、出来なかったりするのはとても難しいです。

写真はあわてない事は大切。そしていつも冷静でいる事も大切だと思います。

Last saturday night,I had a very nice photographic meeting with two of my friends.Novaさん and Yokoさんcame here in higashi koenji (at home)and we went at Fukuyama Emi's show.It was the second time for me to see the show,and that time she was there at the gallery.It was really nice to talk with her about the series of photographs she has been taking for 5 years now.

二人の友達を会えて、良かったです。二人とも暗室も初めて、これからもどんな写真が出来上がるか楽しみにしています。

最近の暗室作業は結構厳しくなって来ました。本当に寒いと、中々集中しにくい。でも暑いよりはまだ大丈夫。

In the rice field

田んぼの中で写真を撮る。

何を撮れば良いか？どんなふうに撮れば良いか？何も考えずにとにかく写真を撮る。

風の音を聞きながら、田んぼの中で作業をしている人達に合わせて、静になって、その風景を邪魔しないように歩いてみる。

時々誰かと挨拶をする機会があって、喜んで挨拶をする。

そしてほとんどのみなさんは、僕がここで何をしているのか、一切聞かない。

それはまた本当に気持ちがいい。

Sunday,and an another sunny day.It's seems recently the weather is not good for me for taking pictures.I take a little bit of my time to writing on this blog and posting some prints from the Far Paradise series.

About the recent show I went to see.

At the beginning of december,actually the first,I went at tosei gallery to have a look at Fukuyama Emi's show. Fiew days later there was the opening party on friday night.I went there as well.Her photographs is kind of hard to explain with words.but I like her style.Also one of my friend I met about two years ago, Dan Abe was also at the party.We had a talk and he introduce me to the photographer.She seems to be a very calm personn like her photographs.She is also a member of Totem Pole Photo Gallery.

I am definitely looking forward to see the show once again.

小田急線の新松田に着いた時、その日は曇っていて、僕には丁度良い天気だった。でも、なぜか途中で、晴れたり、また曇ったりしていたので、中々写真を撮るのは難しい状況でした。今このシリーズをプリントをやってる最中に、分かった事：トーンの調整は非常に難しい。

この写真は、一つの思い出がある。
後ろにいた３人の中学生に笑われて、面白かった。
まぁ、こんな場所で、外国人が歩いている事は普通じゃないかもしれない。
自分も笑ってた。

Far Paradise

(introduction)

recently some friends came at home actually last saturday night,and we talk a lot about photography,showing each others what are we printing now.all of them are shooting on film.at first we went to the current exhibition at tosei gallery and after that had a long talk with the owner mr takahashi.he is so interesting and definitely want to meet him again and talk and learn from him.

このシリーズのタイトルは"Far Paradise"です。どしてこのタイトルにしたのか、まだまだ言葉にするのは、自分にとってはとても難しい事です。冬青(tosei)ギャラリーの高橋さんと色々話して、少し気がついた事がありました。写真を撮るだけではなく、書く事も大事。最近は本当に文章を書く事は少なくなってるので、今現在このブログを書くだけでも、かなり苦労しています。また日記みたいな記録は全然していないので、このブログを始めたきっかけで、写真について書いて少しでも自分の為になる気がする。

言葉の勉強も含めて、自分が選んでるテーマのアプローチをもう一度考える。

ちなみに"Far Paradise"という言葉は撮影の段階で、ずっと頭の中にあった言葉です。一番最初に思いついた言葉で、もう一度タイトルを考えなおす事は無い。

I really believe strongly that anybody who lives in tokyo for a long time have the same feeling as I do which is going in the country side far from the city,and look for these desolate landscapes,or things we usually can't see in tokyo. Unfortunately,it's always the same story,take the train for an hour or two sometimes,and then walk for a while looking for interesting topics.(I like walking.)

I am starting now more seriously about the country side photography.it's kind of hard to take the subject try to make stories with the photographs.well I keep thinking,this is the beginning of a long series,and at the end(if there is an end?

I don't think so)

the theme or the meaning of the work will makes sense.
